Our Story
While traveling across the country, we noticed thousands of empty industrial properties sitting idle while fleets struggled with inefficiencies and wasted miles. One conversation turned into a mission: build a better way.
That mission became Lathrop Services — a B2B SaaS platform that unifies corridor staging, multimodal transit, and intelligent dispatch to eliminate revenue waste and streamline logistics operations.
Preston Lathrop, Co-Founder
With deep roots in the industries we serve, Preston brings hands-on experience from: Over-the-road truck driver, warehouse operations, commercial refrigeration technician (building and servicing walk-in coolers and blast freezers), former owner of Lathrop Services Carpet Repair and Installation. Preston’s father, is a retired Norfolk Southern Railroad veteran. This well-rounded background gives him a true understanding of the daily realities faced by property owners, drivers, and logistics teams. He deeply appreciates the value of an honest day’s work and the importance of family.
Jennifer Lathrop, Co-Founder & Foundation
Jennifer, born and raised in Germany, brings a strong foundation of discipline and service to Lathrop Services. Coming from a military family — her father is a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant — she learned the value of structure, reliability, and teamwork early on. Her mother still resides in Germany.
With professional experience in operations, customer service, and hospitality — including roles as an assistant store manager — Jennifer excels at building processes that put people first. As the strategic heart and steady foundation of the company, she complements Preston’s hands-on logistics expertise with operational excellence and a deep commitment to exceptional client experiences.
Together as husband and wife, they combine practical industry knowledge with disciplined execution and genuine care for the communities they serve.
